Writing Time: 2h Word Count: N/A (editing day)

I deleted, polished, honed, fine-tuned, tweaked, labored over, battled with, lost sleep because of, reorganized, rewrote, reworded and submitted “Alice & Harry” tonight, which is now called “My First Love.” I’m very tired. I’m proud of the story, though.

While trying to select a piece to submit to the contest, I uncovered a lot of my old short stories. My next project is to revise them. Having months and years between when I first wrote these stories will give me a good perspective on how to strengthen them, I hope.
