Writing today felt like driving to school in a snowstorm. I didn’t want to do it in the first place, and once I got started, the going was hard. Also, I couldn’t stop thinking to myself, “Why didn’t we get a snow day today?”, which made it really difficult to focus.
I worked for a little over an hour, mostly on the novel. I spent fifteen minutes on “Beyond the Walls,” too, just to keep up momentum. I’m starting to wonder whether I’ll accomplish my goal of finishing a draft by Sunday. The story just keeps getting longer.
